Nearly Out!!!

Well I just had to share these photos!!!

Lilys front tooth has been loose for weeks and weeks and now finally it is nearly out!!! It is just hanging by a thread, so close.............She just can't leave it alone, constantly in front of the mirror, seing how woobly it is:)

The photo is from my younger brother Charles' wedding day. I've had the photo since 2002 and havn't done anything with it, so now it is out of the shoebox (excellent filing system I know) and scrapped!!!

Well I better go and do some housewife stuff:(

Back to work on Monday so I can't put it off any longer, have a good weekend!!!

My Big girl!!

Well as previously promised her are my Lilys scrapbook pages:) She was pretty excited about me taking photos of her pages to show off!!!
This one is of her and Sam decorating our Xmas tree!! They were so proud of themselves:)

This next one is Sandy and Danny out of Grease!!! Ever since she got the movie it has been on non-stop, she absolutley loves it!!! It cracks me up because she came out and asked me how she could get a picture of them so we searched on the internet and this is what we could find:)

Well that's it for me tonight, I might go and actually do some scrapbooking, even though my pile of ironing has now turned into a mountain!!!!

Holiday Happenings

Well I am enjoying my first week of holidays:) We have been shopping, hanging out and scrapping!!
I have a few layouts to share and even one from Lily:) She loves doing her own pages, and has her own ideas about everything, very determined little individual, but I guess I won't have to worry about peer pressure....................... I have to take pics of hers tomorrow and upload them on their own space (yes I am a proud mum)

This layout is my second page for the BOM challenge over at http://www.wickedprincesses.com.au/ I am really enjoying this challenge, think I have said that before?, but hey it's nice to focus on yourself everynow and then:)

I am off to Wauchope on the weekend to catch up with some family and friends:)

And then another week off before I head back to work and school for Miss Lil!!

Fridays Share

Well I have started holidays and am looking forward to two weeks at home. Not much planned just a bit of time at home, hanging around and finishing off jobs (just the norm). We are heading up to Wauchope for a few days, which shall be very good, although I have the feeling that my good friend Tasha has a headache in store for ME:)

Well I have some more layouts to share. I have been really enjoying scrapping lately, so I figure run with it!! I have a Blind Challenge on tonight at http://www.scrapbookingfromscratch.com/ so I should go over there shortly and see what I so I can be orgainsed for a change:)

I really love the way this page has turned out:) and these photos make me smile everytime I look at them. These are my three kids and our three newphews.

More Layouts and chit chat

How hot was it today?! OMG, it has been an absolute stinker here today. So glad I work in air conditioning:)
We have just got back from dinner. It was my father in laws birthday (Happy Birthday Poppy Ron) so off to the pub we went. Very yummy and the nice cold beers were quite good also:), plus not cooking dinner on a day like today is also a bonus.
Well my first layout here is my entry for this months sketch challenge at http://www.scrapbookingfromscratch.com/ and http://scrap-the-girls.blogspot.com/ . They have teamed up this month so you have twice as much chance at winning!!



This layout below was the first one I completed using the sketch, but then thought maybe I couldn't enter it because Ben was in it (after all it's a girls only site!!!!).
But I am quite happy with both layouts and it's another two photos out of the pile to scrap:)

Please excuse the shadows on the pages, but I am still trying to work out how to get the best photos of my layouts.

OK well I think it's about time to hit the hay. After tomorrow at work I have two whole weeks off!!! Am so looking forward to it and plus getting to spend some one on one time with Lily. She is going into 1st class this year, the time is flying, so I am spending as much time with her I as I can before I am too uncool to hang out with:)

A few layouts to share

I am still figuring this all out, but thought I would share a few layouts.
I am off to pick up my two eldest from their pops today, so I won't be able to play on this today and add extras.

My first ever Blog and Post!!!

Well I've done it, well kinda, created my first ever blog.
I decided that this year I was going to start doing some of the things I want to and try not to let my own fears and insecurities hold me back!!
So this is one thing I can cross off my list:)
You see the reason for this blog is to start really getting into my scrap booking and eventually, if I can, maybe, here come my insecurities again get on a design team? Anywho that's the dream.
