Challenges

Hi :)

With this wet weather I actually spent some time scrapping. And I actually finished a few pages, without sitting there paper shuffling for too long lol

So here they are:

This first one is the sketch challenge over at Scrapbooking from Scratch. I think I may have lost the sketch a little along the way, but I'm sure you can still see traces there!!

This next one is for Scrapbooking from Scratch as well, it's the quote Challenge for January.

And this one is the January Sketch over at Annas Craft Cupboard. I used the Studio Calico Darling Dear Kit over at SFS.

Oh my, Oh me, it has been a while between pages!!

I guess I just haven't been "feeling it" , but decided enough was enough, I was just going to sit and start sticking things down and go with it.

Scrap the Girls

Hi all :)

Last night I managed to complete the Scrap the Girls September challenge, had to use Action Photos this month. 

I have had these photos of Lily for nearly 12 months and can't believe how long its taken me to scrap them! She was so happy on this day, finally being brave enough to have a go on the motor bike out at Aunty Bec's place. She went really well, except for one close call, but she knew what she had done wrong and was fine after that.

And now a page of my youngest, Miss Grace:

This page is for the September Quote Challenge at Scrapbook Savvy. Grace was so desperate to shoot goals with Lily, but couldn't quite get them in, so in came Dad to the rescue!

Savvy Cybercrop

On the weekend Scrapbook Savvy held their Cybercrop.

Something to share

Actually I have a few things to share!
Yes I managed to get more than one page done, woohoo!!!
So I have been watching everyone getting in to the mixed media thing, and loving it :)
So I decided to have a go, well another go. I have tried before but it ended up looking like a layout on canvas instead of cardstock!!??
So here it is my newest attempt :

Miss Lily loves it and it is now proudly in her room <3 font="font">

SFS Sketch

Hi :)
I managed to get the August sketch at Scrapbooking from Scratch done last week. I promise my layout is based on the sketch although it did tend to take on a mind of its own.... I used a Heavenly Heart from Charms Creations, so now I have two chances to win :)

Ive also included in this post my take on last months sketch as well because I dont think I ever got around to sharing that with you?

A little bit of Scrapping

Hi :)
Just like my title says, I've managed a little bit of scrapping lately, not near as much as I would like, but I guess that's the way life gets?

The first one is the August Quote challenge over at Savvy.  This quote would suit any type of photo I think "it seems like just the other day"; I chose one of me and my eldest daughter Lily. I admit to being guilty of rarely scrapping a page with me in it! I am shocking at having my photo taken, eyes are ALWAYS CLOSED, daft look on my face, blah, blah, blah. Feel free to leave any tips on how to improve it!! I am pretty sure it comes with my lack of confidence, but anyways that's a whole different matter!!!

This next one is my attempt at the Kraft It Up Challenge, but I'm thinking I might do this again?? This month its all about layers, which I love doing, but this didn't quite come together like in my head....Don't get me wrong I still like my page, but you know how sometimes you think of A and it ends up like B??? IYKWIM!!

Both layouts are using kits from Scrapbooking from Scratch. I have so many kits in my stash that are still unopened, ssshhhh don't tell Ben, but when Peta had her birthday sale, how can you resist 40% off?????
