Yesterday

Yesterday I took advantage of my 2 year old being asleep and the others away at various places and scrapped. Yep I ignored the mess on the floor, the ironing and scrapped!!! Why not I thought, it's quiet, no one is here to hassle me and so I did!!
And this is what I got up to:

Scrapbooking from Scratch monthly sketch challenge:

Sketchy Thursdays sketch from last week (I didn't finish it in time to enter the comp, but loved the sketch:))

And the Sketch from Get Picky this month:

I love the papers from this range, so bright and colourful and so versatile:) I picked up the kit from Scrapbooking from Scratch and have completed lots of layouts using it, both for the girls and Sam.

a little bit of scrapping to share

Hello :)

Longtime no blog, but here you go I have done some scrapping!!!
I have been without a computer for a while, but it is now fixed and  can continue my obsession with blog hopping and facebooking, must to my DHs disappointment LOL

First up Scrap the Girls for Feb. , a sketch challenge this month:)

  Next is the Kraft it up Challenge. A colour challenge this month; blue, orange, black and Kraft.

1, 2, 3 Challenge; Colour CREAM Word ABOUT Technique UPCYCLING (my upcycling was using a old pattern paper, denium material on my button, the black frame was from some chipboard die cuts that I painted):

Show us you Stuff. This month had to be a layout about LOVE and have handmade hearts on your layout. You can also enter this layout over at Wicked Princesses for their DT Challenge for February. I stamped on some clear projector plastic with a heart stamp and stayz on ink and cut it into a heart for my title and also hand cut the hearts that I stitched onto the side of my layout:)

Just a little share..

Hi there

Feels like I haven't scrapped for ages!!!!! I have a couple of layouts to share with you, but not as many as I would like:(
This last week has been a bit yuk and scrapping has just had to be put to the side. Hopefully next week will be better and I can spend sometime on this hobby, or some would say addiction, called scrapbooking !!
This first one is the current inspiration challenge at Get Picky. Challenge number four is using the lyrics to a Bob Dylan song and this is my take:

I chose to focus on part of the lyrics, because they are characteristics I would love my children to have and live their life by.................
My next share is for a sketch challenge over at Storyboard Kits.
On this layout you had to use a spiral flower using the tutorial on the blog.

OK I'm off to try and do some scrapping:) It's so hot here today, we went to the pool at 10am and it was already 35 degrees, so by now it must be up to 40!!
