Retreat Layouts

Wow, what a great experience!!
My first ever full weekend retreat and I loved it!! The girls, the food, the location, the classes and the free scrapping time all added up to one fabtastic time:)
I have a few layouts to share and a few left on my desk to finish. I got @ 14 layouts done over the weekend and I was very happy with that.
Thank you so much to Kate, Marion and Peta. The three of you put together a great weekend. Thank you to all the girls that were there you made me feel very welcome and made me laugh soooooo much. I am so going next year and now just have to work on Ben about going to Peta's Retreat in October:)

I used the monthly sketch over at Wicked Princesses for this layout, although someone did tell me it looked nothing like the sketch (thanks Kate) so maybe I should say that the sketch inspired me for the layout (lol)

I've Climbed the Bridge!!!

Well I've done it!!!

I've climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge and survived:)

It was a fantastic experience, I am so very glad the girls talked me into doing it (thanks Aunty Bec) and fully recommend it to anyone thinking about it!!
I'm not a big fan of heights, not really scared, just lacking in confidence.............. Anyhow I've done it now:)
The views are awesome and our guide, Dee, was Fabbo!! She really made the experience. Was fun and made you feel at ease, done any amazing job of remembering everyones names and sharing all the stories and history of the bridge.
Well this weekend I'm off to Kates Retreat at Main Creek!! (two weekends away in a row, OMG!!!)
I am looking forward to it as I haven't scrapped for ages:( , but nervous at the same time. My first sleep over retreat and there are so many talented girls going I just hope I can keep up!!!
I have heaps of photos printed up and am all packed, well I think I am??  Lucky I only live about 15 minutes away so I can mad dash into town if I need to:)
Have a great Thursday, Friday and weekend! The weather is perfect here today so I better get off the computer and enjoy it!!!

A Family Outing

Just wanted to share some photos from our drive on Sunday up to Ladys Well!

The kids had fun, but wouldn't hop in too far as it was sooooooooo COLD, oh and Lily saw an eel so she was totally freaked out!!!!!! So brave mum was the only one that got completly wet and lets just say VERY refreshed:)

Start of a new month means lots of challenges loaded, so make sure you visit some/if not all of the sites I have mentioned on my blog because you will get some fantastic inspiration and go into the draw to win some fabbo prizes.
I am on the count down to Kates Retreat at the end of the month, woo hoo!!!! A whole weekend of scrapping, chatting, eating and having fun :)
