Blindscrapping with Peta!!

A few other layouts to share with you whilst I have 10 minutes to myself!!! I love school holidays, but when it's raining and your trapped inside, argh................................
These next few are some of the recent Blind Scraps with Peta at Scrapbooking from Scratch. They are so much fun and pretty good for when you have trouble getting motivated or trouble getting started, you know the paper shuffling that we all experience from time to time lol
Plus living an hour away makes attending classes a bit hard, but online is a fantastic solution  for that.

Krissy over at Wicked Princesses as decided to create a sketch a week for us girls!!! It's gives us even more chances to win, more inspiration to scrap with and of course more excuses to take time out for oneself and scrap:)

Return to the 80's

Sunday afternoon and a new week about to begin!! I can't believe how fast this year is going :O, my baby girl will be turning two next month. The past two years have just gone so fast, I still remember when I found out, couldn't talk, just stood there with my mouth open trying not to burst into tears lol. Couldn't imagine The Turner House without her though, what's a family without a ratbag!!!
Well here are some layouts from the recent cybercrop over at WP It was an 80's theme and lots fun (even though I didn't win the bingo lol)
This first one was Kerry's Challenge. Had to be 80's inspired. I choose ra-ra skirts, tulle, bangles (circles stamped in bleach on my cs) and bright colours.

This next one Kirsty gave us a Madonna photo for inspiration and we had to include a Madonna song/lyrics for our title and pearls and lace:)

This next one was Krissy's Sketch Challenge. Also had to use a songs from the 80's for your title or journalling.

This last one was Kate's Challenge. Had to get our inspiration from a Rubik's cube!!

I was really happy with how mine turned out, thanks girls for pushing us to try new things!!!!

A favourite photo

This photo is one I have loved ever since I saw it!! It is from my brothers wedding and is of my nan, my sister and me:)

The sketch is from Savvy Monthly Sketch Challenge and I am really happy with how it turned out.

Could it be June already????

Wow how fast has this year gone? I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking this year has been going so fast. My little baby girl will be two this year and it only feels like yesterday I was getting over the shock of number three being on the way!!!
Haven't been scrapping much, the dreaded cold has finally found me:( Oh well had to come eventually with three kids and a hubby, plus working in the pharmacy I was bound to pick it up!!!
These layouts are a few just because layouts. Like I mentioned before I'm trying to work with my older stash and older photos before I print up the new ones!!!

This one is scraps from Kate's Retreat. I love these papers so much, but my credit card debt is stopping me from purchasing the kit!!!

This is a photo of my dad!!! I love how different he looks:) I have done some journalling, it's in the envelope.

OK off to play with Sam. He is going a bit stir crazy with all the rain and being trapped indoors!!!
